Moon hanging dreamcatcher
It features a pair of handmade felt owls, which are considered symbols of wisdom and protectors against evil.
The white dreamcatcher symbolizes purity and healing. It brings a person upliftment, bright energy, and freedom from ailments.
You can hang it in the bedroom to protect your rest; good dreams pass through the dreamcatcher and bad dreams get tangled in the web and perish with the first light of dawn.
A legend explains the origin of the dreamcatcher among the Ojibwa Native Americans. The legend tells of a beautiful spider woman named Asibikaashi who cared for all the children of the tribe. At nightfall, the spider woman would enter the rooms and begin to weave a fine and delicate web over them, which could catch any bad dream or nightmare and make it disappear.
But when the tribe began to disperse across vast territories of North America, they could no longer care for all the children. So, the grandmothers and mothers of the tribe began to weave nets with magical properties to catch nightmares or bad dreams, since during the day bad dreams die in the sunlight and thus cannot affect the children.
