Dolors Barberan
Hello, I am Dolors Barberán, welcome to this page where you can see and, if you want, acquire some of my works.
Since I can remember, I have been drawing and painting. As soon as I finished high school, I enrolled in the School of Arts and Crafts in Tarragona, where I graduated in Painting Techniques. There I learned to paint with acrylics, oils, pastels... and a good foundation in drawing.
I combined my work in an office with painting for years, while continuing to train by taking courses with internationally recognized painters, especially watercolorists, until I was able to dedicate myself exclusively to painting and teaching others to paint, an activity that has fulfilled me and that I continue to practice.
My favorite technique has always been watercolor, although I paint a lot in other mediums, I always return to it in the end. And although I do landscapes, seascapes, still lifes... my favorite subject is the human figure, especially portraits, both in watercolor and in oil or acrylic.
